Terms and conditions

These terms govern the sale of the Your Travel School course. Buying the course means accepting them, so they are written to be read rather than skipped.
Who you are buying from

What you are buying
Access, for your own personal use, to the online course “Your Travel School”: 8 modules and 39 pre-recorded video lessons, watched at your own pace, in any order, streamed from our site. The course is delivered online only. Nothing is shipped, and no live teaching, coaching or personal advice is included unless we agree it separately in writing.
Price and payment
The price is the one shown on the sales page at the moment you buy, in the currency shown there. Payment is handled by Stripe, and the contract is formed when Stripe confirms your payment.
The price shown is the price you pay. Any VAT or sales tax due on your purchase is already included in it and is not added at checkout, whichever country you buy from. Your Stripe receipt shows the tax separately, as the part of that price that goes to the tax authority.
Getting in
Immediately after payment we email the address you gave at checkout with a link that opens the course. There is no password: whenever you come back, you ask for a new link from the sign-in page and it arrives by email.
This means the email address is your access. If you mistype it, or lose the mailbox, write to monica@yourtravelschool.com and we will move your access to a working address once we can reasonably confirm it is you.
What “lifetime access” means
It means you buy once and we do not charge you again, and it is not a subscription. Nobody can honestly promise a website will exist forever, so what we undertake is this: the course will remain available to you for at least 24 months from your purchase, and if we ever discontinue it we will tell you at least 60 days beforehand and give you a way to download the lessons you bought.
What you may and may not do
The course is licensed to you personally. You may watch it as often as you like, on your own devices, and use what you learn however you wish, including commercially.
You may not:
- share your access link or account with other people;
- download, copy, republish or resell the videos or their transcripts;
- show the course to a group as if each person had bought it;
- use automated tools to bulk download the material.
The videos, images, text and course structure remain our property or that of our licensors. If we find an account is being shared or the material redistributed, we may suspend access, and where the breach is serious we may end it without a refund.
Refunds
If the course is not for you, write to us within 14 days of buying it and we refund you in full. No form and no explanation required. Access ends when the refund is issued.
This goes beyond what the law requires of a Swiss seller of digital content, and it is deliberate: a course you regret buying is worth less to us than the money.
If something does not work
We aim to keep the course available at all times, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service: servers fail and networks break. If a fault stops you using the course for a significant period and we cannot fix it in reasonable time, you may ask for a proportionate refund.
The course is educational material, not professional advice. Travel involves risk, and decisions about where and how you travel remain yours. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the course. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future purchases. The version that applies to you is the one published when you bought, and we keep the date at the top current.
Law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, and the courts of TODO: place of jurisdiction, Switzerland have jurisdiction. If you buy as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in your own country of residence.
